Enrollment in the GARDian program now gives you access to the following services.
- Billing assistance
If a healthcare provider or patient is having a claim denied by an insurer, a GARDian Program Specialist can reach out to the insurer in order to determine why.
- Benefit verification
A GARDian Program Specialist can contact the insurer and translate the requirements of the patient’s coverage to the healthcare provider or patient.
- Prior authorization assistance
Insurance companies sometimes require certain conditions to be met by a patient before they will cover their therapy. This usually entails paperwork. A GARDian Program Specialist can provide necessary forms for prior authorization to help expedite the process.
- Appeal assistance
In rare instances, a prior authorization claim may be denied by the insurer. A GARDian Program Specialist can contact the insurer to determine their appeal process (if such a process exists) and obtain necessary information or paperwork for the patient or healthcare provider.
